If you feel that God wants you to be part of this ministry as a "Level One" supporter through your finances and prayers, then we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we pray that God will bless you for your faithfulness.
However, if you feel that God is calling you to actually be a patch holder of this ministry (at either "Level Two" or "Level Three"), then we ask that you would please do the following things:
Go through the entire website (if you haven't done so already), so that you may capture the whole heart of the ministry.
Come back here and take the time to go through the Questionnaire/Application (below), responding fully to each item. God has set up this ministry, so that before the Board of Directors can consider anyone for either Level Two or Level Three status, they must complete and submit the questionnaire. No exceptions.
The Personal Information Form (attached to the questionnaire) must also be completed. Please note that every line needs to be filled in before the Board of Directors can accept it.
Because accountability and integrity are paramount in this ministry, we ask that you would also submit a signed and dated letter of recommendation from your Pastor on official church letterhead.
Once we have received your responses to the Questionnaire/Application, the completed Personal Information Form and the Pastoral letter of recommendation, the Board of Directors will look them over. (In addition, your Pastor may be contacted to verify your information. And if there are any other questions, we'll contact you right away.) Then, after praying and asking for God's confirmation, we will notify you and let you know whether or not you are eligible for membership, and how you can order the patch(s) that you are seeking.
That having been said, we are compelled to say this: Because this kind of ministry is NOT for everyone, Iron Horse Ministries respectfully reserves the right to refuse any applicant.
The Questionnaire/Application is not a test. We just want to get to know you a little better as a brother or sister in Christ, and to see if you have captured God's vision for this ministry. In addition, as stewards, we must be careful to make sure that everyone is on the same page. Also, it is important for us to be careful in these 'last days', so as not to let in any 'wolves in sheep's clothing'. With that, we thank you again for your understanding, and for your time.
Before you get started, please note that for your convenience, we have provided three different means of getting your information to us. There's one by Snail-mail, and two others done electronically as detailed below.
One way to get your application and such to us, is by down loading and using the Adobe formatted version (below) to print up a hard copy of the Questionnaire/Application. Then once that's done, take your time and handwrite your responses on the Questionnaire. You can do the same thing with your contact information on the attached Personal Information Form. In addition to completing that, we ask that you would please include a letter of recommendation from your Pastor on official church letterhead. Once you have everything together, go ahead and send all of the documents to the Snail-mail address that's closest to you. The addresses can be found on the 'Contacts' page of this website.
Or if you prefer, you can expedite things a bit, by doing it electronically. What you can do is print up a hard copy of the Questionnaire/Application as mentioned before, and hand write your responses, etc. But now, instead of Snail-mailing everything, you can scan the completed handwritten hard copy of the Questionnaire, the Personal Information Form and the original Pastoral letter of recommendation. Once that's done, you can send all the files of the scanned documents together as E-mail attachments, to this E-mail address:
However, if you want to make things a lot faster, you can use the electronic version of the Questionnaire/Application that's found on the bottom of this page. Here's what we suggest:
As mentioned before, you can down load and print up a hard copy of the Adobe formatted documents (below). Then take your time and handwrite your answers until they are just the way you want them to be. Then when you're ready, instead of scanning the completed Questionnaire and such, you can use the hard copy as a kind of 'guide' from which to copy your answers directly onto the electronic Questionnaire/Application form. Don't worry about your answers being a bit long; the fields will automatically expand as you type.
Now don't forget, you will still need to send the Pastoral letter of recommendation by one of the means mentioned above. We suggest scanning it, and sending it as an E-mail attachment to the E-mail address above. If you can't (for whatever the reason), go ahead and Snail-mail it to us. But in either case, please be sure to use the 'Additional Comments' field at the end of the electronic questionnaire form, to let us know that the Pastoral letter is being either Snail-mailed or E-mailed. We would be much obliged if you did. That way, we'll be watching for the letter, and we'll know who it's for when it arrives.
So with that having been said, no matter how you decide to do this, please make sure that you have included ALL of your contact information. We don't want your stuff accidentally getting mixed up with someone else's.

It has been set up so that when you put your name and date on any Iron Horse Ministries related forms, it is considered as your signature, which then constitutes as your agreement with the precepts and principles of this ministry.
With regards to the Personal Information Form, all of the contact information fields must be filled out in order to submit your application. So, if you do not have a cell phone, then please put the word "none" in the cell phone field, and then be sure to put in your home phone number (with area code), in the home phone field. Conversely, if all you have is a cell phone, then just put the word "none" in the home phone field, and then put in your cell phone number (with area code), into the cell phone field. That way, if someone within I.H.M. needs to get a hold of you in a hurry, they can.
You may be asking yourself, "What if I don't have an e-mail address?" That might be a problem in the future. As you may know, communication is extremely important. Without it, we won't know what's going on. So, because E-mail is so convenient, and because of the sheer number of people that now have it and use it, E-mail has now become this ministry's primary form of communication.
So, for those that don't have a personal E-mail account yet, may we suggest that you consider asking a neighbor, a friend, or a family member if you could use their E-mail. Or, maybe someone can add a separate E-mail address onto their computer for you. That way, you'll be able to stay informed of all the many things that may be going on in your area, and within the ministry at large - not to mention, the inevitable prayer requests.
On a more personal note, you may have noticed that we ask for your birthday. We understand that some folks are shy when it comes to their birthday, so we ask for only the month and day - not the year. We do this so that as a family, we can celebrate with you what God has done. He has given you another year here to serve Him and to enjoy His creation. How cool is that? And so with that, we want to celebrate with you, not only the passed year, but the upcoming one as well.
Also for your information, Iron Horse Ministries has a roster, which is used by the membership to stay in touch with one another. That's why we need your personal information. We consider it an honor to be entrusted with such important information. The roster is for I.H.M. member use ONLY. Therefore, we are NOT to give away or sell any personal information found on the roster - to anybody - EVER!
One last thing before you get started on the questionnaire. We would just like to remind you to take a moment and pray for God's answers - not your own.
