Iron Horse Motorcycle Ministry

If you feel that God wants you to be part of this ministry as a "Level One" supporter through your finances and prayers, then we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we pray that God will bless you for your faithfulness.

However, if you feel that God is calling you to actually be a patch holder of this ministry (at either "Level Two" or "Level Three"), then we ask that you would please do the following things:

1. Go through the entire web site (if you haven't done so already), so that you may capture the whole heart of the ministry.

2. Come back here and take the time to go through the Questionnaire/Application (below), responding fully to each item. God has set up this ministry so that before anyone will be considered for either Level Two or Level Three status by the Board of Directors, they must complete and submit the questionnaire. No exceptions.

3. The Personal Information Form (attached to the questionnaire) must also be completed. Please note that every line needs to be filled in before the Board of Directors can accept it.

4. Because accountability and integrity are paramount in ministry, we ask that you would also submit a signed and dated letter of recommendation from your Pastor on official church letterhead.

Once we have received your responses to the Questionnaire/Application, the completed Personal Information Form and the Pastoral letter of recommendation, the Board of Directors will look them over. (In addition, your Pastor may be contacted to verify your information. And if there are any other questions, we'll contact you right away.) Then, after praying and asking for God's confirmation, we will notify you and let you know whether or not you are eligible for membership, and whether you can order the patch (or patches) that you are seeking. That being said, because this kind of ministry is not for everyone, Iron Horse Ministries respectfully reserves the right to refuse any applicant.

- INSTRUCTIONS -

For your convenience, we have provided three different means of getting your information to us. There's one by Snail-mail, and two others done electronically.

One way is by down loading and using the Adobe format (below) to print up and send a handwritten hard copy of your responses to the questionnaire/application, along with your contact information on the attached Personal Information Form. In addition, we ask that you would please include the Pastoral letter of recommendation on official church letterhead. Then, when you have everything, go ahead and mail all of the documents to the Snail-mail address that's closest to you. The addresses can be found on the 'Contacts' page of this web-site.

Or if you prefer, you can expedite things a bit by scanning the handwritten hard copy of your responses to the Questionnaire/Application (the Adobe format below); the attached Personal Information Form; and then the original Pastoral letter of recommendation. Once that's done, you can send all of the documents together as E-mail attachments to the E-mail address below.

However, if you want to make things a lot faster, you can use the electronic version of the Questionnaire/Application that's found on the Iron Horse Ministries web-site. Here's what we suggest. You can down load and print up the Adobe format (below), then take your time and handwrite your answers so that they are just the way you want them to be. Then when you're ready, you can use the hard copy as a kind of 'guide' from which to copy your answers directly onto the electronic Questionnaire/Application form. The fields will automatically expand as you type. So if an answer gets a little lengthy, that won't be a problem.

Now don't forget, you will still need to send the Pastoral letter of recommendation by one of the means mentioned above. We suggest scanning it and sending it as an E-mail attachment to the E-mail address above. If you can't (fore whatever reason), go ahead and Snail-mail it to us. But please be sure to use the 'Additional Comments' field at the end of the electronic questionnaire form, to let us know that the Pastoral letter is being Snail-mailed. We would be much obliged.

So with that having been said, no matter how you decide to do this, please make sure that you have included ALL of your contact information. Thank you very much. We don't want your stuff accidentally getting mixed up with someone else's.

With regards to the Personal Information Form below, all of the contact information fields must be filled out in order to submit your answers. So, if you do not have a cell phone, then please type the word "none" in the cell phone field, and then be sure to type in your home phone number (with area code) in the home phone field. If all you have is a cell phone, then just type the word "none" in the home phone field and then type in your cell phone number (with area code) into the cell phone field. That way, if someone within I.H.M. needs to get a hold of you in a hurry, they can.

You may be asking yourself, "What if I don't have an e-mail address?" As you may know, communication is extremely important. Without it, we won't know what's going on. So, because E-mail is so convenient, and because of the sheer number of people that now have it and use it, E-mail has now become this ministry's primary form of communication. So, for those that don't have a personal E-mail account yet, may we suggest that you consider asking a neighbor, a friend, or a family member if you could use their E-mail. Or, maybe someone can add a separate E-mail address on their account for you. That way, you'll be able to stay informed of all the things that may be going on in your area, and in the ministry at large.

On a more personal note, you will notice that we ask for your birthday. We understand that some folks are shy when it comes to their birthday, so we ask for only the month and day, not the year. We do this so that as a family we can celebrate with you what God has done. He has given you another year here, to serve Him and to enjoy His creation. How cool is that? And so with that, we want to celebrate with you, not only the passed year, but the upcoming one as well.

For your information, Iron Horse Ministries has a roster which is used by the membership to stay in touch with one another. The roster is for I.H.M. members use only. We consider it an honor to be entrusted with such important information. Therefore, we WILL NOT give away or sell any personal information found on the roster - to anybody - EVER.

One last thing before you get started on the questions. We would just like to remind you to take a moment and pray for God's answers - not your own. So, when you're done speaking with Him, and whenever you feel ready - go for it. Thank you again for all of your efforts.

3) How do you know your salvation is for real and forever?
4) What is water baptism? Have you been baptized as a born again believer? When?
5) Please share some of what Jesus Has done in your life, since you've asked Him to be your Lord?
6) How's your prayer and devotional life these days? Are you in God's Word daily?
7) What do you feel God wants you to do through this ministry (visions and goals)? And at which patch "Level", supporter patched or fully patched?
8) How would you explain to someone else your commitment level, your responsibilities, and your liabilities as a member of this ministry?
9) Have you talked with your family about being a part of this ministry? How do they feel about it?
10) Do you have an addiction that you battle with? How are you dealing with it? Do you have an accountability partner yet?
