Iron Horse Ministries is always on the go, following the leading of the Lord to, ". . . go out into all the world . . ." (Matthew 28:19). As such, we are constantly looking for new opportunities to serve, to share, and to show the unconditional love of God for ALL of His creation.

RUNS / RALLIES:

The calendar link to the left is a tool for anyone to use. Although no one calendar can list every event going on in every place, this is one of the most exhaustive calendars out there. When used together with your local publications, it should help you to determine which events would be the best for you to attend. Please feel free to use it as much as you need to.

The purpose of the calendar below is to enable all of the members of this ministry family, to be aware of what is going on in areas around the nation, where other members are. In doing so, all of us can pray more effectively for one another, and for all the events that will be attended. Even though the events posted on this calendar are submitted exclusively by this ministry's membership, anyone can use it as well.

We who wear the I.H.M. patch use these calendars and many other kinds of publications to prayerfully go out (two-by-two) to ride and/or to work all kinds of events. It doesn't matter what the events are, we go wherever, and whenever God leads us. So watch for us. We may be on the next bikes you see.

MULTI-MEDIA PRESENTATIONS
AND SEMINARS:

We have brought Multi-media presentations to many different churches and other groups. We use these presentations to help shatter the myths about bikers that Hollywood has so carefully created. We've discovered that many people still think that everyone that rides a motorcycle is affiliated with a certain motorcycle club, and that they all ride a certain brand of motorcycle. Our goal is to teach them the truth about bikers and their culture.

We also put on seminars that will help teach, train and equip congregations to reach out and minister properly to this often feared and misunderstood group of people.

In addition, we have seminars designed for existing or forming motorcycle ministries. These presentations teach the basic protocols of the biker culture and motorcycle ministry.

We are always looking for an opportunity to bring these presentations and seminars. It is our hope that they will minister to the people, both in the church as well as the surrounding area. So if you think your church, group or organization (or one that you might know of), would like Iron Horse Ministries to bring a presentation or seminar to them, then please contact us and we'll work it out. Or if you're in the area and you would like to come along with us as we bring one, then let us know, it would be great to have you hook-up with us.

From the very inception of Iron Horse Ministries, God made it clear that He wanted this ministry, together with His church, to create and sustain a "Biker-Friendly Church Network" (B.F.C.N.) across this great nation. God's purpose for this is two fold: 1) To help unify the body of Christ (the church) in this country; and 2) to make it possible for a rider in need to connect with a Christ centered, Bible believing church body in their area, that will accept them as they are, and minister to them and their families - no strings attached - no questions asked.

This is a God sized vision and undertaking. We know we can't do it alone. That's why we need everyone's help. What we're looking for are people like you with a willingness to help build bridges to Christ. So, if you know of a Christ centered church in your area that is biker-friendly (or wants to be), then please let us know. All you need to do is fill out and submit the simple form provided (left), and we'll take it from there. It doesn't cost you anything but a little time. Once we have verified the information, it will be entered into the Biker-Friendly Church Network database. Every church that becomes a part of this nation-wide network, will have their name, address, contact information and logo (if provided) posted on the B.F.C.N. web site.

Also, as stewards of this ministry, Iron Horse Ministries reserves the right to refuse enrollment into the Biker-Friendly Church Network. Thank you for your understanding.

Yes, absolutely. If there are riders in your area, then a motorcycle ministry could be a very effective outreach.

However, before you jump into this kind of ministry, let us ask you a few important questions first. Do you believe that God wants you to start a motorcycle outreach ministry in your church? Do you know where to start, and what to do first? Are you aware of the subtle nuances of the biker culture? Does this seem like a lot? Or does it seem like a doable kind of thing?

You may ask, "Do I need a motorcycle to start this kind of ministry in my church?" No - but it sure helps a lot. They need to visually see that you understand them, and what they do. A motorcycle is sort of like a key, which can help to unlock their hearts.

If you feel that this is what God wants for you and your local church body, then please contact us, we would be honored to assist you in building bridges to Christ.

You may be wondering, "What's the difference between a Ministry Team and a Chartered Chapter?" Well, this is how it works. When a person becomes a fully patched member of Iron Horse Ministries, and if they are the first one in their area, then they are automatically considered the Team Leader of an I.H.M. Ministry Team in that city or town. Then, as God grows the Ministry Team, He'll provide just the right people to fill the four officer positions of President, Secretary, Treasurer and Chaplain. Once those positions are filled and confirmed by the Board of Directors, then the Ministry Team becomes a fully Chartered Chapter of Iron Horse Ministries.

So with that, please remember that it is God that is growing this ministry, which means that every Ministry Team and Chapter that is out there, is there because God Himself has made it so. Is He speaking to your heart?

It's relatively easy to start an I.H.M. chapter. In addition to being a fully patched member of this ministry, there are only a few basic things you'll need to know before you get started.

Someone once said that, "Nothing of eternal significance can be accomplished apart from prayer." With that in mind; the first, and one of the most important things you'll need is a clear vision from God. If He's the one calling you to do this, then He will equip you, and give you an exciting peace.

If you feel that God is calling you to this, then the next step is to contact us. As stewards of this ministry, we must make sure that everything lines up with God's will and His perfect timing. We also need to make sure that you have all the rest of the information you'll need to get started.
