Iron Horse Ministries (I.H.M.)
is a Christ-centered, inter-denominational, non-profit motorcycle ministry. God's purpose
for this growing nation wide ministry, is to work quietly
behind-the-scenes - 'Building Bridges To Christ'.

Our
mission is three-fold:
1) To
quietly minister with loving integrity to the physical, emotional, and
spiritual needs of those in the motorcycling community. This is
done by developing one-on-one relationships, just like Jesus has done with
us.
Our desire is to share and to show the love of Christ, in such a way, as to hopefully, cause
them to want for themselves, what they see God doing in, and through us.
2) To create an awareness within the Christian
community, of the many needs and opportunities to minister to those that
ride motorcycles. This is done in part through multi-media
presentations brought to churches, as well as to other groups. We use
these presentations to help
shatter the
myths about bikers. As a result, many folks are
able to see for themselves, that all people that ride motorcycles are not
associated with
outlaws, and they don’t all ride a curtain brand of motorcycle.
In addition, they come to realize
that they too can reach out to this often feared and unwanted segment of
society.
3)
To help develop
as God leads, a nation wide network of "biker-friendly" churches. The
purpose of which, is to help unify the body of Christ, and to help make it
so that no matter where a rider is, there's a Christ centered, Bible
believing church near by, that will minister to them and their families at their point
of need - no questions asked.

The purpose of this web site is four-fold:
1) To share God's vision of this ministry.
It is He who began this work, and it is He, through His people, who sustains it.
2) To teach, encourage and chal-lenge born again believers to
step out of the boat, and to become involved.
3) To reach out, with the hope of ministering in some small way, to those who share in a love
of
motorcycles, but don't yet have a personal relationship with our Lord and
Savior, Jesus the Christ.
4) Finally, whether you're a believer or a non-believer;
a rider or a non-rider, our purpose is to make this web site as understandable as possible,
so that hopefully, some bridges may be built.
